Rove Sauna was thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in Maine as more than just a sauna. It’s a place to slow down, reconnect, and reset.

Each session invites guests to unwind in wood-fired heat, cool-off with cold water between rounds, and share a peaceful space with others who appreciate the simple power of warmth, nature, and community.

How It Works

Step 1: Book Online

Our hour-long sauna sessions host up to 8 guests and cost $30 per person.

Thursday & Friday

4pm · 5pm · 6pm

Saturday & Sunday

11am · 12pm · 1pm · 2pm · 3pm · 4pm · 5pm · 6pm

Monday - Wednesday sessions starting April 1st!

Step 2: Arrive & Settle In

Before You Arrive

  • Arrive wearing swimwear (required)

  • Bring about 1L of water

At the Sauna

  • Leave shoes outside and store belongings in cubbies

  • Sit on a towel inside the sauna

Extras

  • Organic cotton towels available if needed

  • Spring water and LMNT electrolytes available for purchase

  • Bathroom available in the surf shop during opening hours

Step 3: Sweat, Breathe, Repeat

Each session includes three ~15-minute rounds of wood-fired heat with cooling breaks between them. Essential oils are added to the water poured over the rocks at the beginning of each round, filling the sauna with aromatic steam as your host fans the room.

  3. Calm & Ground with Lavender & Frankincense

Between Rounds

  1. Step outside for ~5 minutes in nature

  2. Cool down with a crisp cold-water bucket

  3. Relax in an Adirondack chair with your feet on the earth, surrounded by trees and open sky
